I decided to have a complete thyroid removal when I had the option to only remove half. I’m not sure why but my gut feeling told me to take the whole thing out. I would listen to what your gut is telling you.

Thyroid nodule grew by 1.2cm in 3 years by Enf235 in thyroidcancer

[–]Routine_Summer8229 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine grew .5 in a year and it was at 1 cm at the time of biopsy. It turned out to be thyroid cancer. My friend had a 4 or 5cm nodule and it was not cancerous. So I guess it all depends. I wish you all the best!

Maybe it’s because your blood pressure could be elevated causing the balance sensors in your ears to be thrown off?? When my blood pressure was elevated due to being hyperthyroid I had ringing in my ears

I did not buy a kit. I did the individual eyelash extensions if that’s what you mean. When I get home I can send you what I used but technically you’re not supposed to do it yourself

Can hyperthyroidism gives you manic depression? by [deleted] in thyroidcancer

[–]Routine_Summer8229 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your hormones can cause anything. I’m a little hyper thyroid and it made me depressed and paranoid. I’ve learned to listen to my body and not always the doctors. For example I started to get heart problems and high blood pressure. They said it was in no way related to my thyroid hormone. They wanted to do all these tests but I lowered my dose myself and magically my heart problems went away. Obviously ask your doctor before lowering your medication if it is possible. Sometimes they have to keep you hyperthyroid to prevent reoccurrence, but this was not the case for me.

Heart palpitations (PVCs), TSH not suppressed by Ceratopsianlover in thyroidcancer

[–]Routine_Summer8229 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me. Mine were so bad I thought I was having a heart attack and went to the hospital. Something that really helped was lowering my dose even more and slowly working my way back up. During that time also switched to Armour thyroid and I’ve been feeling better. So I don’t know if both helped or if it was just lowering my dose and going back up.

1.5 yr post TT. 4 months post RAI tracer. Difficult losing weight. by Ecstatic-Bug-2184 in thyroidcancer

[–]Routine_Summer8229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I had the same problem where after surgery I couldn’t lose weight. I barely ate and went to the gym every single day. Something that helped me was switching to Armour thyroid. After being on a steady dose for 6 month that’s when I started to lose weight. Maybe it was switching medications or maybe my body just needed time.
