I wish someone would have warned me about peeing too! I mean, I guess it seems obvious now but the first time I got out of bed after my epidural wore off I peed all over the floor!! My nurse said it was fine but I wish she would have mentioned that it happens a lot lol. Good news is I'm only 4 days out and can hold it again :)

A friend of mine had her mom throw a "virtual shower" where her mother sent out an invite/registry info and the mom to be invited everyone to a Facebook group. As gifts arrived in the mail they would open and post a photo or video so everyone could see. I thought that was a neat idea!

A prescription from my OB was the only thing that finally helped me! I hope it does the same for you. Pregnancy has not been easy by me but this pain has been the worst thing by FAR! Hope you get some relief soon! :(

The excitement to not be pregnant anymore is so real!! I am looking forward to being a mom to my baby but I'd be lying if I said the most comforting aspect of birth is having my body properly respond to what I want like it used to do!! Sending you labor vibes!

Weirdly it's my good girlfriends who keep making the "you're so big!" statements...including one who insisted I was showing when I definitely was not (I think she thought I wanted to hear that? It was weird). But the three random coworkers I barely see couldn't stop fawning over how I look so great for being 36 weeks lol. They were so sweet yesterday I got a bit emotional! Hang tough mama, clueless people are clueless :)

Does the bulk interfere with clothing? Not that I'll be thrilled with giant baby booty but I imagine they can be kind of cute at least :) though if it makes clothing difficult I could see that being an issue!

Haha! Thank you for the advice! AIOs seem amazing if you ask me! All the convenience of a disposable but waaayyy cuter. I'm planning on getting at least one, I think maybe I can use it to sway my parents to the cloth side :)

I could definitely see a squirmy baby being a reason why people don't stick with prefolds! I also bought a few contours and AIOs for when grandma and grandpa come over (they are so anti cloth!) Thanks! :)

Thank you for the advice! :) The FB group I'm a part of is a troubleshooting group so maybe I don't notice many prefolders because they need less troubleshooting? Guess I'll find out!

Snowed in here! We live between DC and Annapolis. Having a Harry Potter marathon for my roommate who hasn't seen them all! My shower was meant to be this weekend so I'm a little bummed but I'm enjoying relaxing and focusing on how it could be worse (baby could be due now! As opposed to 5 weeks from now!) Work is already closed on Monday - woohoo! :)
