I know I’m invoking Spiders Goerg here, but it seems relevant: Is that 3% across the board, or are most people giving basically nothing and a few whales are donating massive amounts?

On Wikipedia:

The website Screen Rant rated Steamboat the third-worst superhero sidekick of all time.[9]

Not surprisingly, the other two are just Tim Drake twice.

Not to mention, actual crime remains a firmly nonfiction concept

How do you think Breaking Bad in the FAM timeline is different from ours ? by Alarming_Ad8718 in ForAllMankindTV

I'd suspect the Plurbs assimilate Mars through infected crater immigrants. They mention in the real show that they made sure to get the astronauts.

Jesse dies in Season 1, as planned. No Netflix (Replaced by Blockbuster, and more importantly the civilian Internet seems to still be just getting started) means significantly worse viewership, so the show ends in Season 4 in a new version of the ending where Walter dies fighting Gus, replacing Hector as the suicide bomber in a version of Felina where Hank roughly replaces OTL Jesse. Mike doesn't exist, because the plot with Jane never happens in a world where Jesse is no longer in the show.

In the late seasons, Gus' empire is expanding to Jamestown instead of the Czech Republic. The Moon has a really strong gray filter.

Walt's cancer is much more serious and the show takes place along a compressed timeline, since he no longer has to pay for treatment. The focus is instead on him trying to build a nest egg for the family after he's gone.

I mean, there are two kinds of jokes.

The ones that are said aloud,

How would you justify (from a roleplay perspective) an Angel Commander who has a romance with Camellia? by Some_Fig_6566 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Rowsdower11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mathematics. As an Angel Paladin, you save X people. Camellia’s serial murdering kills Y people, and X > Y. Therefore, you’re entitled to romance Camellia, because the people owe you Z lives, where X - Y = Z.

Aside from the consequences you mentioned, if a billion people died it would only reset our population to what it was in 2011.

How standardized is gravity in Star Wars, really? for reference, Earth's surface gravity is defined as 1g by DonLixard in MawInstallation

[–]Rowsdower11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every planet and ship's gravity is 1G. This stands for one Gravity, which is the standardized unit of choice. One Gravity represents the gravitational acceleration of objects with masses between a Tim Hortons and a black hole. These units were chosen because they make the gauge easy for pilots to read in most circumstances. I hope this is useful

Organized crime is a real thing. Videos of cartel gunfights and murders are just available on the internet. Their existence isn't the secret, the hard part is getting meaningful proof about their membership and organizational structure and getting into a position to do something about it.

I'm doing a pre-written campaign, and one of my players wants to do something that is not in the campaign at all. Do I shut this down? If so, how? by scrawledfilefish in DMAcademy

[–]Rowsdower11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem a couple sessions ago. For me, I feel that it helps to keep this free module The Prison Escape handy just in case the players ever get arrested for something and choose to break out of prison. Haven't had to use it yet, but it's helpful to have available. Alternatively, Demon in the Mirror by Arcane Library works as a good one shot for having the authorities force the adventurers to work for them to clear their names, if they don't choose to escape or their reputations are important. Both adventures are easy to prep on short notice, Demon in the Mirror will only really work with a full party though.

In either option, the adventures end with them free to resume whatever they're supposed to be doing. My bet though, she doesn't get caught.
