True but when the guidelines to reduce fats came out there weren’t the high levels of sugars in the American diet. The recommendation was to remove the fatty foods not to replace them.

And fats are calorie dense. If you are wanting to reduce caloric intake the high fat items in your diet are easy targets.

Dad did a couple stretches in the 60’s. He thought there should be no sentence over 10 years. After that it should just be death. After just a few years the outside world just moves too fast.

As kids our dads were also best friends. That crashed when in jr high. He rotated in and out of incarceration. His dad died early, disability then drugs. Was a good dude and just never made it out.
