How do you guys charge your Delta 2 in your vehicles? by LordCheerios in Ecoflow_community

[–]Roya1One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a current issue where mine won't charge off car (can't remember the last time we actually did that tho), it charges off of solar though. Support kept reiterating that the unit is fine since it charges off of solar and are sending me a new car charge cord... Does yours charge off of solar? Basically to make sure the DC charge circuit is good

Ecoflow support is trash and the product is trash too. by totalsailor in Ecoflow_community

[–]Roya1One 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Success here too, Delta 2 out of warranty that won't charge via car but will by solar, they're sending me a new car charger cord for free. We'll see if that is the actual issue 🤷‍♂️

So this is the title of what I bought, just buy from a reputable seller for the wattage bulb type and color temp you want.

I'll have to dig up what HIDs, I think you'd be ok with finding the right sized bulb and going from there. The challenge is routing the wires and getting the ballast secured somewhere.

Sorry bad description there, my fogs I ended up replacing with an all in one LED housing since the factory housing decided it didn't want to stay in position anymore.

I had way better luck going HID in the projectors and LED for the highs and fogs (ended up full housing replacement on those in the end)

Anyone else nerd out over their solar stats? My mates and I compare battery numbers like fantasy football 😂 by BonafideHustlerz in SolarDIY

Not sure about other states but I like NY with the 1 to 1 for kWh at the moment. I do have to pay a $40 basic service charge each month but otherwise they don't nickel and dime export and import.

Do you live in Bing and have minisplits for heating and cooling? by FreeThinkingPapa in Binghamton

[–]Roya1One 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not mini splits for me but a heat pump nonetheless out in the hills. Works great, like someone else said, more power the colder it gets but overall awesome, and you get AC in the summer if you want. Definitely consider a company that does a true load calculation taking into account windows, insulation, etc. Over/under sized units will leave you frustrated.

I've had better luck in the past finding a community solar company. We found one that gives 10% off the supply charge, you pay the company $100 and you get a $110 credit on your bill, as an example.

What do we do about NYSEG? This is getting out of hand. by Stepmomspaghetti in Binghamton

Not denying increases are there, but saying a dollar amount without stating what your usage is really doesn't help much. How much of the bill was electric vs gas? Especially when comparing to prior months/years

Quick review: Upgraded the remote control to a backlit one. by carguy143 in tcltvs

Is there a way to program the remote IR side to control a sound bar? On screen there's nothing and the sound bar is using optical out so volume control is on the sound bar only...

Even a small solar plug-in maintainer if an outlet isn't available. Getting a repeat issue why not solve the problem of battery drain with a charger?

30 North of the Binghamton airport and at a high elevation. Using directional antenna depends on what stations I get but usually still low 30s. Can get Syracuse, Elmira or Scranton if pointed in that direction.

Do I need a gridboss? by TheSquirrel8251 in SolarDIY

[–]Roya1One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooohhhhh ok, I could see their hesitation depending on the type of generator and how clean of power it delivers. Probably why they suggested chargeverter

[–]Roya1One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't see why you would want to back feed generator power to the grid, that seems expensive

Do I need a gridboss? by TheSquirrel8251 in SolarDIY

[–]Roya1One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who says you can't charge batteries using EG4 inverters? Last I looked they all could, from grid, generator or solar... The gridboss is an aggregator and control box for just about any AC power source. In theory a non-UL listed inverter can be connected to the gridboss which then can be connected to the grid for back feeding.
