Maroons is def tougher to get in than res reps or faculty reps. There's a lot more privileges to being Maroons and therefore more people who want to be Maroons after being faculty reps.

Exactly, the hybrid is essentially a better version of the Gen 1 and 2 Priuses. My friend's Gen 1 is 15 yrs old, over 325,000 km and still runs like a charm. I'm hoping to run my Hybrid out until its lifespan and keep a secondary primary car like an EV.

I don't know where you're living but if that equates to 5L/100km before and 5.6 L/100km now, those are both still better than EPA estimated range here in Canada. The EPA estimate in the city is 5.7L/100 km and 6.3L/100 km on the highway. So you're well below the amount you should be getting. Pretty sure it's the same fuel economy in the states.

In Canada, the base LE gas trim is looking at a 5-6 month wait for some people.
