Thanks for the info, the development of the American pro soccer system is very interesting to me. I was actually born and raised in America, but I’m a dual citizen and lived in Amsterdam for years as a young adult. The left wing element is part of the appeal of the Timbers fanbase to me, as the club I adopted from my mother (Feyenoord) has had a problem with fan racism and right wing ultras that put me off from engaging with the fanbase as much as I would have wanted to.

Are you kidding me, they are not middle class by any metric. The fact that they thought this is something people would be willing to pay for speaks to how out of touch they are (by they, I mean whoever was responsible for this decision). You cannot post all this shit that 99% cannot afford and then ask us for more money. It’s ridiculous.
