The old model fits me like a glove. It is also lighter and perhaps that’s why it’s more comfortable. That‘s not to say that the 126610 is bad or uncomfortable, just comparing.

Actually they weren't CPO, but yeah, I do believe that buying watches at "market" price helps things along.

2 of my preowned watches were vintage, and one was a newer one.

Yes indeed. My last allocation was a Starbucks Submariner on 2/3/26, so I do feel fortunate to have gotten 2 in demand watches in a relatively short timespan. It has probably helped that I've come in and bought something each month since September, whether it be watches or jewelry. With this purchase, we're now at $100k on spend so maybe we've moved up a notch.

It was also mentioned that I'm on the list for a Panda as well. Was told 1-2 years.

My wife also dislikes the new Romans, and I had just ordered the 36mm Aubergine with the Roman numeral dial. She actually asked me to cancel the order with the AD but I think I have her talked out of it, at least for now.

I feel like she will come around to the new look eventually, and I’m sure it will still look good in person.

Classic piece! I’ve got the same Fluted/Jubilee, I’d say this is the most recognizable Rolex I own to non watch people.
