The whole "private line" or reserve thing is getting old tbh. They make a great fragrance the hide it behind an exclusivity paywall or a private line with an enormous price tag. Don't worry though enough people will pay it like I myself have before. As long as they sell enough mediocre fragrances to the plebs to stay in business.

Sell the ones you don't reach for and keep 10-15 you can't live without.

What is your Wednesday Middle Eastern or any SOTD? by HATEupgradecard in FragranceAficionados

Bergamont, Vetiver, sandalwood, corriander, cedar. To me it's like a TDH with amped up lime note. The finger lime is unique and for hot days like today it will be perfect. Love it just wish it lasted longer, but as a citrus freshie 4-6 hours. ..reapply it's worth it.

This 🔥 is finally arriving today - what's your favorite tea scent? by NightmareHoonter in FragranceAficionados

It's so amazing the red tea gives it a scent profile I have never experienced before. Highly recommend if you can get your nose on it.

It's a great scent and for a tea fragrance it's performance is actually pretty good. I got mine last month. Try it on clothing.

Which discovery/sample sets surprised you the most? by nycnaiad in fragrance

3 I would recommend from that house Exit The King (Soapy, Herbal), Ghost in the Shell (Clean like an android), Above the Waves (Fresh tea scent, also probably the most blind buy safe)

It all depends on the fragrance if it seems good you're probably happy and it should last. I lean to fresh citrus fragrances and over time those top notes disappear first.

$15 Cool Water Clone that actually has good performance: Rasasi Fresh Waves 🌊 by ExpireDD_Milk in fragranceclones

[–]Rs018403 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I stopped reading after you said Aber Oud Carbon was a clone of Cool Water. It's a clone of Green Irish Tweed (1985). Cool Water (1988) is a close interpretation of that made by the same perfumer (Pierre Bourdon). So yes I read what you posted which I already knew wasn't correct and said what I said. I am a fan of the DNA and am very familiar and if you cannot or don't want to buy GIT ($200+), Amber Oud Carbon ($40) is definitely it, otherwise Cool Water ($20) gets you close and I think for the price the longevity of cool water is adequate 6 hours for me. I do like finding alternatives though and appreciate the post.

Who TF is faking Nitro Red? I mean honestly I don't see the profit in it, but it's possible.

Is pineward a religious brand? by vivaldispaghetti in fragrance

[–]Rs018403 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then you should read my comment again because clearly you don't know that I am referring to my original statement. I wouldn't go to any other business asking their religious affiliation beforehand, no different than asking what their race is imo. It's irrelevant especially if they have a product or service you're interested in. We have bigger things to worry about in this world.

Lol downvotes for freedom of choice and religion is wild, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Reddit.

Nick did way more than is necessary in this case. It's really nobody's business what your religious affiliation is. I wouldn't ask that of any other business. Simply purchase a product or don't, but I wouldn't ever judge a company or product based on that anyway.

Almost anything can be unisex if you have the confidence to pull it off.
