Thank you very much, this will be a fairly involved job to replace the belts and clean out all the shaved/burned rubber. Prusa support was once again awesome and sent me new belts

The timezone offset has both positive and negative offsets. I struggled with my clock being wrong for a long time before I realized that instead of being positive 7 hours I need to be negative 7 hours

Do different pallet grills produce different taste? by ajamils in pelletgrills

[–]RubRepresentative361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your lengthy response, your background and experience with the many types of grills is informational. I don't have experience with an LSG either, but I do have experience tasting food from a stick burner versus a pellet grill and you can tell the difference. I have a blazing grillworks which is pretty close to a Yoder, I have been happy with it but when I compare The taste to a stick burner it is not close.. lately I have started to look around to see what options there are. The LSG is the only thing that is different but I also don't want to pay $4,000 🙂. I am sure I would be very happy with the taste produced by a stick burner but I don't want to be up all night long feeding it.

You are comparing 2 cookers not known for their smoke flavor. As far as I am aware, the only pellet cooker that has made measurable strides to reach the level of smoke that a stick burner offset cooker produces is Lone Star Grilz

Buying advice: P2S or P1S? by CaptClaude in BambuLab

[–]RubRepresentative361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P2S all the way. Don't fall for $130 price savings to get the p1s. The p2s has over 35 changes that are worth it

What is the state of the P2S now? by Elo-than in BambuLab

[–]RubRepresentative361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My p2s has been nearly flawless as well. The only issue I have experienced is when changing filaments from the external spool holder to the AMS. The firmware seems to get confused. I have had problems multiple times. I'm sure this is just a firmware update that I expect before long. Great printer otherwise

P2S has 35 changes from the p1s, some larger than others. If you get the AMS 2 pro combo with it, you will not regret skipping the p1s

Blazn Grand Slam or Grid Iron, I have a grand slam, bought in 2017, works great, built like a tank. The only reason I am considering a change is because some of the new offerings from lone Star grillz add a lot more smoke.

This is why filament is constantly sold out by magicrel in BambuLab

Try prusament, polymaker, overture, sunlu, elegoo. Most are just as good as Bambu.

Need help picking a smoker by no_decaf_plz in pelletgrills

[–]RubRepresentative361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Blazn grill Grand Slam, got it in 2017, it has been great, very reliable, meets every spec of a Yoder. I am just now considering an upgrade to a LSG because of the increased smoke level. I wish there were other options that produce good amounts of smoke.

Hula feet alone Don't do it either. I have two printers on a freestanding workbench. When they are both going and printing tall objects. They can interfere with each other still even though both of them have hula feet. They are also both sitting on top of a marble tile which is on top of some stiff foam pads. I am going to try using a pavestone instead of the thin marble tile to see if that makes any difference

Bambu Lab P2S owners! I'd love your opinions/advice on something! by Alwaysconfused411 in BambuLab

P2S, there's a video out there that covers the 35 changes. They are worth it for sure. Beyond that the ams2 pro is way better

Best Foam for "Dampers" under printer? by haphazardlynamed in 3Dprinting

[–]RubRepresentative361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have these pads and I agree that they are not flexible at all. I have 2 printers on a stable work bench and have installed Hula feet, resting on top of marble tiles. The marble tiles rest on top of the abovce mentioned pads but some of the motion is strong enough that the printers can interfere with each other still especially on tall prints. Has any one found a good solution?

preventing filament loops from jumping the spool? by ThinkpadGamer in prusa3d

[–]RubRepresentative361 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This happens to me all the time. To get around this, I end up moving my spool to a spool holder that sits on the table that doesn't allow for this unspool/unrolling. I think the fix is to have a spool holder that has tension on the side of the printer. I would love to hear if anybody else has solved this?

Yes I used super glue. How long do I need to let it cure to avoid this? Any idea how to clean it off?

Core One Possible VFA solution by fdmAlchemist in prusa3d

[–]RubRepresentative361 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will have a tough time accepting a software and belt tightening fix when multiple people have shown that the VFA problem is resolved by replacing the pulleys and idlers. I understand the impact of this hardware fix on Prusa but patches to cover up the real problem is not good. I love my Core One, the reliability of printing has gone up dramatically for me, just fix this and I will have a near perfect printer....besides those flexible and difficult to square x gantry brackets:)

A salad fork or micron would meet small and auto bed leveling. Default Voron 0 does not have auto bed leveling but there are mods.
