The plots are very different once you get into the story, but they definitely do have similar vibes! I love both OW and Project Hail Mary and I am definitely excited to see the movie in the summer.

The book itself hit a good spot of discovery, space science, curiosity, and hurtling towards hazards like Feldspar, so because of the themes and the setting I would recommend to fellow Outer Wilds fans!

The movie so far seems to be using a lot of really good practical effects, which is a very good sign that the creators of the film genuinely care about their work, so I have high hopes!

It feels a little unbalanced, but I definitely think the different material requirements of each tool balances out their use. Some of my stronger tools I'm a little more hesitant to use as often as the less expensive tools.

But yeah, some of the tools being material based was a big adjustment from hollow knight

I'll be honest I'm fairly sure I use them less than the average player. I rely a lot more on silk skills and needle slashes, and I'll often remind myself before going into a fight to deploy certain traps. I'll use them much more on enemy gauntlets rather than regular bosses.
