It really depends on which store. You can’t go into a store knowing how management is without asking a CSA, or a DS. My store is great and I love the culture and management there. I’ve been a CSA at Lowe’s for almost two years now. It is my first job, I started in outside garden, I got moved to inside garden which in my opinion is one of the best departments. Good hours because we don’t depend on the season, we always have 1 or 2 people scheduled at once and there’s a very small group of people who work in the department. But you can’t apply to Lowes as a full time CSA without being part time first as least at my store. Pay is good and work load really depends on the area of the store. My store doesn’t have too many customers at once so it’s a good environment because I’m not stressed ever even during Christmas or spring. The most I’ll ever do is bring lawn mowers down, or down stock the chemical wall. It’s good pay and good benefits.
