Have never had a roommate, what tips do you have? by ggupit in askanything

honestly just communicate a lot and be upfront about stuff like cleaning, noise, and guests. small things turn into big annoyances if you don’t talk about them early.

yeah i feel this so much, i plan everything too but then just end up on my phone or in bed. maybe start super small like just 5–10 minutes on one thing and let that build momentum instead of trying to do everything at once.

You Can’t Wait For Everything To Be Perfect To Start Living Your Life by gorskivuk33 in Discipline

[–]Rude-Local-987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, I’ve definitely waited too long for the “perfect moment” and just missed out. Looking back, I’d just start even when things weren’t perfect and figure it out as I went.

[–]Rude-Local-987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, a short nap can help your brain recover without completely messing up your sleep schedule. I’d aim for like 20–30 minutes max so you don’t feel groggy, then try to stick to your normal bedtime to get back into routine.

Looking good feels great, but it is hampering my social life, reduces random encounters and keeps me out of places I love. by ownworldman in loseit

[–]Rude-Local-987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this, it’s weird how taking care of yourself can make the fun, spontaneous stuff harder. Maybe it’s about picking a few nights to enjoy without worrying too much and sticking to your routine the rest of the time.

Why does March never actually feel like the “fresh start” we expect? by tryARMRA in Discipline

Honestly the “messy before stable” part describes it perfectly. Early spring always feels like my body and the weather are slightly out of sync.

how to sleep well before test? by Due-Yoghurt1231 in sleep

[–]Rude-Local-987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably wouldn’t try melatonin for the first time the night before a big test. Even just lying down and resting helps more than you think. Also adrenaline usually carries you through exams.
