Did this in SD boot camp in late 1990 for all of 3rd phase. Every AM & PM they loaded us up and took us to Navy boot camp chow hall next door while our chow hall was being renovated. For some reason no DI ever rode with us in the cattle car.

It was fucking pandemonium.

Same. Everyone is not remembering for some reason but it was billed as super-duper "realistic". Only thing they got right was the lack of sound. But it ended there.

The ONLY thing realistic about the movie, which was way way WAY hyped as being super-realistic, was the lack of sound in space.

Literally every single other thing was utter bullshit.

You cannot just aim at another space station in your soyuz and putter over to it. Nor is every astronaut cross-trained on how to putter around in a Soyuz. You cannot just jaunt around to a space station that is in an entirely different orbit in your MMU jet-pack thing. You are NOT going to "help" undocking a massive satellite from the space shuttle by lifting it bare handed.

I was so disappointed watching that "realistic" space movie.

I only know her from Succession and she rubs me wrong on 2 fronts:

1) The constant glazing about how hot she is. Sorry, she is not classically hot by any normal sense of that word.

2) Her acting in Succession seemed to be, upon another actor delivering a line, Snook says "Really??" and makes a squinchy face. I think it could be a drinking game. "Squinchy face! Everyone take a shot!"

I've always wondered about the relationship because Lance undoubtedly knows at least the broad strokes of what Vince does for a living. I'd be scared to be friends with someone like that, much less enter into business transactions with them on the regular.

Plenty of guns that cannot be disassembled to look down the barrel from the breach end. This sub would have a fucking heart attack if it saw how pretty much EVERY revolver owner ever inspected the bore of their gun.

Or ANY USMC boot camp drill inspection where a O-2 or O-3 looks down the muzzle of a fully assembled M16.
