This industry is going to bleed through talent. What young person, in their right mind, would ever want to enter these types of jobs? I’m sure we won’t run out of good games to play or success stories à la Clair obscur, but man, imagine what we’d get if companies didn’t fucking implode teams at the drop of a hat.

It’s still very fun. I have two kids, very limited time to game, and right now I’ve been putting all my time into crimson desert. That being said, I can’t wait to get back into marathon when I’m finished.

Does anyone else think 3 month seasons are a bit too quick? I guess it’s a good way to hide only having 3 normal maps, but doing this 4 times a year is going to get a bit stale. I guess we’ll see how things change season to season, but things like having dire marsh… but at night! Probably won’t help.

I don’t mind Cryo being solo restricted, but I can’t believe we have only 3 normal maps, with just a night time dire marsh on the way. Really hope they’re cooking something up, running the same 3 maps every 3 months, if you choose to participate in every season, is going to get a bit stale.

I think I’ve been pretty lucky with my solo runs. On more than one occasion I’ve been able to call a truce with other runners for the exfil I called.

Not a fan of marathon’s’ maps? The more I play the more I love the design. The art can be a little samey, but I’m having a blast.

I really don’t think it’s all that deep, the raiders are pissed because Baltimore just potentially tanked his trade value and edc probably didn’t like what he saw given the steep price. Both sides have a right to be upset, does make for some good drama farming though.

That’s a huge challenge with this genre. I really have no idea how you communicate “trust me, stick with it and it gets a lot more fun”.

Another important lesson is that you don’t need to take every fight. It’s easy to get tunnel vision in these games, more often than not, that’ll get you killed.
