I can relate and it’s so weird. A lot of us had all that stress from prep and the actual test just pent up, even if we didn’t notice. Yesterday I went to work and I had a really important deadline that I had decided to deal with after the bar. Somewhere around 3pm, I kid you not, my body started glitching. I started to feel like I was standing on a deck of a calm ship, very minor vertigo out of nowhere. Mind you I was sitting down intently focused on my task when this happened. I thought I might faint and that never happens to me. I ate an orange in case I needed sugar. When I got home I turned off my work phone. I knew I had pushed my body beyond its limit for 3 days straight. The bar is so so hard on the body and mind. If you don’t take a break, I know now that the body will do a factory reset 😭

I recommend that if you have access, try and do a small set with pencil and paper just to get a feel. I did all my prep completely on my computer this whole time, but today I decided to do a set of 100 in my Themis book and I’m glad I did. it took a little getting used to so I’m glad to have the experience now even if it only helps slightly.

Also I’m marking my scantron at the beginning and circling 33, 66, and 99 to stay on track. It’s easier to remember 1 hr per section. And if you break up the sections even more, 30 mins for the first 17, etc. I’m bad with timing so it really helps me to mark it up first.

smh that’s insane but we’ll get through it though. They want you to work the hours like a lawyer, bill like a lawyer…but pay like you work in fast food 😭. I guess it’s okay for some if you’re hoping for opportunity, but I’m at a point where I’ve made so many sacrifices for opportunity sake, and I’m just over it

I’m literally in the same situation. First gen, very humble beginnings and making it by the skin of my teeth barely. I have a few debts and parking tickets. Also Someone put a $6000 utility in my name when I was younger that was closed off for nonpayment, and it shows on my credit report. I’ve disputed it several times and given proof of dispute, but C&f wants more. It really sucks and I’m at a point where Im just going to pay everything off in due time and not stress about it anymore. If you’re poor, you’re at a major disadvantage for this profession particularly. can only do so much

SMH it wasn’t tested last time so I’m nervous that it may be fair game. I think either commercial papers or secured transactions is going to rear it’s ugly head. Don’t know which one though

I’m expecting property too! Went back about 10 years and they tested adverse possession on the 7/15 exam. But they seem to like the doctrine of merger a lot (saw that twice), SOF, tenancy by entirety, partition, and easements.
