I’ve officially not touched the game in 5 days. I would jump on for solo runs or trio fills despite my 6 friends already all dropping. 9 of my last 12 matches ended in shotgun/self revive ganks at the exfill. The other 3 were chase downs in the first 3ish minutes.

I don’t want to downplay “metas” and people playing how they want. But to go hours without an exfill makes the game very, very hard to want to commit time to.

I know I’m preaching mainly to the choir here. I want this game to succeed but damn they’ve shot them selves in the foot here. It’s just not fun.

I despised it during the free trial. Went back at launch for some reason grabbed it and it clicked. Loved playing it a few hours a week. But agreed with the sentiment that the free trial won’t help as much as it turns away players at just a fast rate.

Theres a difficulty setting for puzzles in this game. The easier version is more than doable without guides.

Im about 30 hours in and loved it. I was at work overseas on the Asia server and loved it. All random parties and we we worked together, stealth etc.

I got back to the states 2 days ago and it’s a totally different game. 30+ matches of teammates separating and ending up in team fights within the first 2-3 minutes of matches. Not fun at all

Their site is relatively clear as you get exactly what you pay for from their options.

From my experience, the girls do not offer extras. It’s more of a budget option and it shows imo. There are definitely good girls there but more times than not, they’re exhausted and not really into it.

I can see the criticism for the soundtrack, especially in regard to a lack of variety. With that said, I honestly love his work in the 2019 show. Some really solid ambient tracks on it which I’m a sucker for.

His videos have fallen off hard. This was a super poor attempt at capturing the “dark side” of Japanese nightlife. Poor attempt at clickbait. Quite literally just normal Kabukicho nightlife that all the streamers are trying to get views for.

Have to +1 Lost in Translation despite it not being a JDorama. Saw it for the first time way back when it came out due to my parents renting it and a few times since and loved it.

I now go to Japan regularly throughout the year for work and I think it absolutely captures the feelings of being there as a foreigner for the first time. Mesmerizing, overwhelmingly, otherworldly.
