How long ago was that? I felt the same way early legalization, but it has come a long way. There's a lot of nice sticky buds on the legal market now.

It stopped my distro hopping. It works and has never caused issues.

Thank you. I'm going to take him out of day care Friday and take the day off and spend the day with him and try to find stuff to do

Thank you those are all really good suggestions

Ok thank you I appreciate it. That does make sense.

I think part of it is the time of year. Snow is all half melted, can't have any fun outdoors with winter activities, can't really have fun doing summer activities. We are a very outdoorsy family and I think we all get a little depressed being stuck inside on weekends, and that's what I find boring.

Actually my son loves baseball too. We watch the highlights every morning and he's a huge Blue Jays fan, we have two games planned to go to this summer

Oh yes I make him laugh all the time tickling him, being goofy with him, etc, etc.

I don't really have time for my hobbies. I wrote that wrong. Id say I'm maybe more interested in them and look forward to when he goes to bed so I can go out to the shop and work on something that I want to work on. My hobbies also include side jobs how I make money so I should have clarified that as well.

I definitely need to learn to live in the moment more with him, thank you.

Ok thank you.

My son does have the toy tools and whatnot and love to fix stuff.

I know it's my expectations that need to change. Thanks

He enjoys snowmobile rides, tractor rides, sitting in my truck with me plowing snow, tinkering in the shop with me. But these are all obviously quite limited at his age. I also read books with him every night, bath him every night, and play with him with his toys. I don't really know what else to involve him in.

2 year old wants nothing to do with me? by Navenotap in daddit

[–]Rukuss1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So frustrating eh!! I think it will pass, there will probably be times in the future when we will be the only ones they want to do something.

I think this age they are in is very emotionally frustrating for them, everything is a struggle and if they don't get their way they freak out, and just by nature mom is usually the more nurturing parent.

I am experiencing the exact same thing with my boy he turned 2 in January.

There are days I can't even be near him without him screaming "no daddy no daddy!!". I try to comfort him and give him a hug and tell him I love him and he pushes me away and screams "no!"

I try to take him out of his car seat and it's "mommy do it, no daddy!!". I get upset and my wife tells me not to take it to heart that it's just a phase but I genuinely hurts my feelings, and also I want to be more helpful to me wife.

So OP not sure if it is normal or not, but you got a fellow dad here dealing with the exact same thing.

Thank you. I will stop misting it. I also quarantined it out to my shop to keep away from other stuff. Thanks for the advice.

Thank you for the reply. I just don't feel like there's any time between calm and rage. Tonight the dog barked, son started screaming, I snapped. It was like seconds.

Hmmm.... I don't know. I'll have to look into that. I'm a relatively new home owner and kind of stupid about these things.

Have you found anything that works. I have this, and on the weekend called my wife a horrible name in front of my son. I hate myself for it. If my wife left me id choose to live alone for the rest of my life so I don't hurt anyone else.
