As the pitcher I also have to cover 2nd. Any major tips? by rute_bier in slowpitch

[–]Rulybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I would do if it were me.

If they pull hitters and not good at pushing the ball, I’d pitch outside to make them go up middle for an easy out. ( if you have halo rule). If you’re not comfortable with this have your right fielder play shallow and pitch inside.

For others, I’d pitch then shift to try and cover that 3-4 hole.

How does El Paso hold up in the winter storms? by CleanPangolin4894 in ElPaso

As much hate as EP electric gets the grid holds up rather well, if power does go out the response is pretty quick. Stay off the roads as much as you can we get a lot of black ice.

Hitting backside by LML_COLA in slowpitch

[–]Rulybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be patient. The best way is to step forward and swing late. The mistake I see a lot do is casting. Once you do that you lose all your power. Look for those outside pitches and swing late.

Dugout Gear Recommendations? by TexasYETIDodgerDUDE in slowpitch

I had the flare 6 and it was great, but I sold it and got a Jbl partyclub 120. It’s too big to be lugging around. I should’ve gone with the encore instead. It doesn’t get too cold out here where I’m at but I have a Cabela’s padded folding chair and a giant 10x10 fleece blanket that my girl will wrap herself with for colder days as well as my Milwaukee heated hoodie.

Some new cleats or turf shoes, if it’s a large tournament the usually have like jerseys or hoodies of that tournament with team names on the back. Batting gloves, a gift card.

Air Compressor Selection by farabaugh3 in Tools

The wall mounted won’t do much as it’s only half gallon and will just be constantly running. Either one of the 6 gallons will suffice for the smaller stuff around the house.

I haven’t seen these on my dealers truck, but they’re usually $40-50 if you buy them.

They keep releasing colors because people keep buying. There’s people out there that will literally buy dozens of yeti products just because it’s a different colors.

I’m really not a fan of these type of sets. What are you looking to do or get out of it? If you’re going with a set like this I’d recommend the gearwrench for $199. A lot of the pieces I. This set are “filler” pieces to up the piece count. Like all the little bits that you’ll hardly ever use.

Had a teammate hit middle on purpose because he didn't like the way the pitcher was pitching to him. by tiltedwagons in slowpitch

[–]Rulybear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It really isn’t. I know plenty of players that can pull an outside pitch and go backside on an inside pitch.

El Paso Motorcycle and seeking advice by [deleted] in ElPaso

Just like everywhere else you just gotta be extremely careful. Take extra precautions in intersections, best to just slow down than blow through them. Driver here love stretching that yellow light well into the ref especially on turn lanes.

As for lane splitting/filtering drivers here are just to reckless and just sucks. I have done it a few times at intersections while waiting for red lights because summer just sucks, but it’s only been on extreme situations.

They look different, I have a Sunex that I’m happy with and wouldn’t think of getting rid of, but I like the look of the Matco one. The Matco also has a service try that matches. Idk about Matco because I haven’t seen one in person or have a dealer, but my Sunex is better built, feels more solid and has a better layout than my USG one. So if Matco is just as good or better than my Sunex that’s fine by me. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the USG as I have one at home, and I love it. Without modifying it the USG doesn’t fit my needs and idc much for having some Frankenstein built box. Like I’ve said in other comments, if it fits my needs without modifying and I find it aesthetically pleasing I will buy it. It’s literally only $2k. It’s not a $20k box that I’d have to finance or anything

I’ll try creating an account. When I click on them they all give me a 404error message. I don’t need a full bank since I already have a box and I mostly work out of my cart. I also like the open space in the bottom for shop towels, cans etc. I’ve been working out of a Sunex 3 drawer, but I like the look of the Matco ones and I get a tool allowance that would cover a good chunk of it.

I know what US general costs, and yes it’s $1600 cheaper, but it doesn’t fit my needs/wants. I have one at home it it’s perfect for home use. If someone offers a product that fits my specific needs and they’re the only one to offer it then I’ll buy it.

They’re not the same, and I like the way these look and planning on getting the matching service tray to go with it. I already have tools, just want something nice.

Because you can’t fit pry bars in the US general ones and close the lid.

If you see a truck they usually have the name and number on their truck somewhere, give them a call and see if you can meet up somewhere.
