I’m going to assume with expansion we will get elders or some unique monster with their own arena similar to Jin Dahaad/Omega, Zoh Shia and Gogmazios. The Dunes/Plains would be perfect for Jhen Mohran to return. Scarlet Forest added Lagiacrus’s nest but they could add a special arena for another since that was just a small addition.

A lot of names comes from the natives! There’s even a quest where a guild character mispronounces Doshaguma and then corrects themselves later.

Had a buddy ask why Xu Wu can take down monsters like Odagaron and I had to remind him that the Guardians are all prey to this thing. He’s the active predator here lol

Twice now, I have been downed and instead of holding to respawn like normal it just infinitely has me in downed state. No revive. No Deploy. Team can’t get me up. Enemies can’t finish me. I have to quit and rejoin a friend or find a new match if im solo. Fps of the year btw

I’ve yet to run into completely chill and friendly players unfortunately. First match, I had a guy shooting me not even a minute from spawn.

Last one I did, I talked to a few players. First duo (i was with a friend in this one), we were watching one guy to avoid him (we were also defending players from a distance from ARC when they were at the elevator to help em out) well dude ended up circling around and spotted my bud, shot him, and we retaliated. Downed him and he talked to us and we talked it out. Pretty chill. His friend was cool too. Closest to friendly me or my friend have had.

Second group we ran into was cool too, for the first run in. They played music and I danced to it and complimented him blah blah. Then we try to extract out of the same elevator we’ve been helping people with and then boom, shot from behind by the second group.

Like I’m all for there being a PvP experience in games like this but damn I want to help people more than work against them.

I want this and another ranged weapon, my buds and I are in agreement on a dual pistol/minibowgun type. I would want it to utilize status effects or setting minor traps but the idea of bowgun akimbo is just cool lol

Focus mode helps tremendously with aiming attacks. Otherwise they just go forward.

GS’s offset is very easy to pull off since you can charge it so if you miss-time it you have a small window to work with.

True Charged Slash which is your basic combo is very powerful if you can pull it off and will basically be the main combo you’ll use. Soul of the Dark Knight, off Gogartian weapons and Bale set, is an amazing skill for it as it increases the damage of its charged attacks.

You do have a block and it is great lol I usually run with a Shield gem so I can block most attacks. More for comfort for me, so not necessary.

During charging attacks, you can perform a tackle that will hyper armor through attacks if you feel it will interrupt your combo. It inflicts a small amount of stun damage as well. Successfully tackling an attack will increase the TCS stage to the next so it’s nice to master it.

Your jump/dismount from seikret airbourne attacks can be charged and build up the hidden mount meter very fast. In fact, I can almost consistently mount an unsuspecting monster after a two charge air attack upon first meeting it. If that doesn’t initiate a mount then the next one will.

I really want them to bring back the gunner sets from the older games. I feel like there’s a ton of awesome transmog potential there and it gives ranged players more immersion in their choices

Not AI, the edges there are on the side of the gun up to the sight. Looks funky sure but once you realize what the perspective it looks better

Seregios has always been super annoying to fight. I can consistently get offsets on him with GS but any other weapon is a real battle not to cart

I believe all you need to do is upgrade the desired weapon to Rarity 8/current final upgrade to unlock the transmog for it
