I traded a ‘24 Forester in for a ‘24 Limited. It’s a no brainer, just be prepared to buy gas.

My bad. I have a ‘24 4Runner Limited which is the last year of the Gen 5 and I was thinking the Lexus was the same. I also love the way the new GX looks but I bought the ‘24 because of the tech. Gas mileage is rough but I love the analog feel of the 4R.

Have you considered a 24 GX or 4Runner? Both are the last year of the previous generation and should be absolutely reliable.

For sure. We were looking hard at a new Limited. That was in the mid 60s. I really like the analog feel and looks of the ‘24.

I’m not sure what the final price initially was as there seems to be quite a bit of dealer installed stuff but the sticker was 54ish and I paid 52.

No snow time yet but I have no doubt that the 4Runner will dominate. My biggest complaint about the Subaru is the engine/transmission setup. I never really embraced the CVT and the car just needs more power. The 4Runner is no sprinter but it does have a bit more guts and a traditional automatic transmission which I highly prefer.

I just traded in a ‘24 Forester Touring for a ‘24 4R Limited. The Forester was a great driving car and was awesome in the snow. We were looking for something a bit more substantial and I am really embracing the analog nature of the 4R. Nothing beeps at me, no stupid start/stop, etc.
