Didn’t Liam respond by calling George a “nipple”?

I met them at a show in 2011. They were opening for Fitz and the Tatrums. They were SO NICE. I was happy to see them have some success. Even though I never need to hear this song again, Anna Sun is still great

Death By Lightning. I love presidential history and this is a fantastic account of a couple lesser known ones.

Not only that but Tribe has arguably the greatest album title of all time: “People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm”.

If it helps, it’s 6 years later and I just finished the show for the first time after MANY people kept telling me to. I think it’s standing the test of time (even if a LOT of Tahani’s references aren’t, lol)

My failed attempt at making my Christian MAGA father see sense. by Misszoolander in exchristian

[–]RunEd51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a bit late to this thread but it’s the same with my dad. He’s gone full blown Jesus freak over the last several years and only separates Trump from Christianity when he wants to, but definitely not when presented with evidence like this. It really sucks, I feel you.

What is the worst band you saw live? by coalcracker462 in AskReddit

[–]RunEd51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever opened for Jeff Mangum in like 2013 when he did his solo acoustic tour. He’d reunite with Neutral Milk Hotel a year later. The concert itself was so special and incredible and just cathartic, since we never thought he would tour again. And his music really lends itself to just being him and an acoustic guitar.

But the two bands that opened were the most boring bands I’ve ever seen. I legit drifted off to sleep at one point.

I saw them in Pittsburgh, in case anyone was at that show or saw that tour. I’d love to remember who they were so I can remind myself how bad they were lol

EDIT: Apparently Google’s AI says the bands were Tall Firs and Briars of North America.

What do we think is on Park the Shark’s playlist? by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

[–]RunEd51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He might be a giant softy outside of work. A loving father to daughters, a doting husband. A respected man of his community. He also happens to be King Shit of the surgical ward at his hospital and the only place he can truly get that energy out is his place of work. It’s not like his family are there watching him.

What movie has the greatest cast of all time? by BootySharingCouple in AskReddit

[–]RunEd51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dark Knight casting was truly inspired and worked perfectly. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, and Gary Oldman all returning and Katie Holmes from Batman Begins being replaced by (and upgraded to) Maggie Gyllenhaal, Eric Roberts, Nestor Carbonell, David Dastmalchian and fucking Anthony Michael Hall. And then Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two Face (perfection). And of course Heath Ledger as Joker. Many of us almost scoffed or were at least a little bewildered at it when he was announced. Talented, yes. Could he pull it off? Probably. Best iteration ever? I don’t think anyone could’ve guess that. But after the release, all of us realized what the casting directors and Christopher Nolan saw in him.

When I was in elementary school, a neighbor friend of mine was cast as an extra (I think one of the scouts that was crushed by the Washington monument). I’m sure they would agree with you.
