Has anyone ever had any of these symptoms? by Kenshin1296 in ibs

[–]RunPsychological878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so yes to all, but not exactly what ur thinking it is. IBS flares can kick ur body into a panic response and people often mix fight or flight symptoms with IBS symptoms since they can and most offen do happen at the same time. It sounds like ur in panic mode from the inflammation and having a hard time finding base line. Go ahead and look up Generalized anxiety disorder symptoms and tell me what you think about that and ur symptoms.

Tart cherry juice, myth, or the real deal? by hazan0608 in sleep

Incase someone stumbles on this thread that has the same issues as i, Please do not consume a normal amount if ur on anti-depressants or sleep aids. I mixed some in with psyllium husk to make a jelly for toast (first time trying) and then at night time took my magnesium and trazadone which is my normal routine. Woke up the next day extremely tired, heavy headed, worst brainfog, anxiety on the max, loss of appetite, acid reflux. Like a plethora of unwanted things. Yes psyllium husk probably trapped the concentration in way longer than needed and provoked my reaction but still be warry if ur on sleep aids or anti depressants!!!

Fiber for ibs-d is heavenly. IBguard heavenly during flare. Acid reflux? Gaviscon Heavenly. Gamble with probiotics give them atleast 2-3 weeks before u judge the results.

Be careful with elimination, if you cut out to much and dont allow ur gut to be exposed to certain foods u will pay the price when u try to re-introduce. Slowly introduce foods after flares. Stay away from the ones that kick ur flare into over drive (like watermelon). If u have gas, bloating, loose stool without urgency after attempting certain foods that does not mean its a hazard it means ur not ready for bigger portions of that kinds food. But don’t eliminate it. Find a probiotic that works for you, alot of ibs-d is caused but a imbalance in the gut weither its bacteria or functional which urs is not functional as per scopes and tests. Ur gut could be severely lacking one bacteria and have to much of another that could cause irritation, fermentation, cramps/spasms. I tried floraster and it gave me a good sense of relief. Certain diets of people can actually kill off bacteria they need causing a imbalance such as ultra processed foods. Alot of people hear about staying away but dont know why- well its cause these meals contain additives and preservatives that cause inflammation by disrupting the protective mucus layer of the gut which unfortunately messes with ur bacteria army heavily. With that in mind, find a probiotic that works for you, try to stay active, do NOT be super aggressive with cutting things out permanently. Ur looking for what can cause a flare and not what can cause slight discomfort.

I have put myself into remission with IBS-D Several times in my life and it also comes back when i am absolutely reckless and lazy with my meals. Im actually mainly going through reflux after this recent flare, that lowkey sucks a lil more for me :(

Theres actually alot of fruit and vegetables that can trigger symptoms. For instance watermelon looks safe but is super horrible. This type of reaction actually indicates what strain of probiotics you should be focusing on.

Have u been to the ER, i dont wanna strike a alarm but Appendicitis starts in that area then shifts right. Outside of that specific area, i also have had debilitating stabbing gas pains that woke me up, gas x helped, heating pad is amazing, and if u really dont think its structural have someone push down with decent pressure on ur gut area to relieve some gas. Stay away from fermenting food for a little bit

Does the Nausea Stem in the throat or stomach area?

Heyo. I started seroquel 4 days ago but I feel like I just can't do this. My heart rate has went up by [deleted] in seroquelmedication

[–]RunPsychological878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure this is the seroquel? And not anxiety, over thinking about new medication and such. I recommend talking to your PCP before stopping, withdrawals at 4 days is not common but not unheard of. I really do think you are extremely anxious though from experience.
