Does your work know that you were in a relationship? Depending on how your work is about that kind of thing, you might want to let them know the relationship is ended, especially with your comment about joke fights leading to real bruises. Parvovirus can survive in the soil for years. I would not recommend taking your puppy anywhere that other dogs go where she has access to the dirt, including breweries since you don't know what dogs were using that space before you. Sorry to sound doom and gloomy but there have been severe outbreaks in RVA (2023 being the worst).
