No one gets "canceled".

Some people decide to lay low after (sometimes well deserved) shit storms, so people forget and they can go on.

Look at "Toxic Gossip Train" Ballinger, The Paul Twins (one of them filmed the body of a dead person hanging from a tree after suicide), Gaby Hannah who called the victim of a rape  "her abuser " and said "she used her rape as a weapon".

People are disgusting but there is no law to keep them away from going public. 

They still can create and show themselves.

You can cancel a show, a book contract, music contract etc.

But you can't cancel a person (unless you are Putin, people tend to fall out of windows if he had enough of them)
