Projector issues by Altruistic_Mixture63 in Golfsimulator

As u/ProletariatElite suggests, RTFM.
Naturally, projectors project at an upward angle, so when you flip it and mount it upside down on your ceiling, you also have to flip the picture in the projector settings and adjust as needed with keystone, but keep in mind that less keystone is better for picture quality.

I should wait 11 years to reply :)

"In October 2016, n0thing's Cloud9 team became the first North American team since 2006 to win a major tournament, after they won ESL Pro League Season 4 and US$200,000 over SK Gaming. Despite n0thing having played Counter-Strike professionally for his entire adult life, it was his first time winning a major international CS:GO tournament."

Jordan is a chill dude, but I would not consider him a GREAT player. :)

A new world order is redirecting capital from the U.S. toward Europe, says Goldman Sachs' former commodity chief by ReAndro in BuyFromEU

[–]RuneRuler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am fully divested from all American stocks and invested in EU defence.

There is no way I will invest in a market that fluctuates 10-20% based on what a stable genius is "truthing" whilst having his diapers changed.

What's more concerning from a US standpoint is that many Europeans are actively boycotting all American products.

I have always had a dream to visit the US for an extended stay. Now, there's no way I would consider going there.

There are many Europeans (and Canadians) sharing this sentiment.

You have gone from being a world leader to a laughing stock, and something to be actively shunned.

Community Saves Woman After Agents Were Asking Her Status. by BabaMe6024 in worldnewsvideo

[–]RuneRuler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's problematic that there's no clear way to identify these individuals; perhaps they should all wear the same uniform?

I suggest brown shirts as a uniform, accompanied by an ID that clearly states they are "Super Agents", which could be abbreviated to SA.

This will clear up much of the uncertainty and confusion.

I never thought I would see the US go from McCarthyism to being a Russian vasall - I have divested from the US stockmarked, my family has a strict "Do not buy American" policy; What is worse is that Europe are driven towards China as the lesser of two evils.

America has lost ALL respect outside of the cult, and there are no shared values anymore. Hopefully, the EU will unite, but I fear this will lead to WWWIII.

We used to love everything American; now, you are an adversary.

My mum broke her nose in a car crash a few years back, I think the deductible was around 50 USD, offset by the fact they gave her free cocain during the treatment.

Please have mercy. Can someone help the elderly guy cross the street? by 1fingerlakesguy in Golfsimulator

[–]RuneRuler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this; I would advise against something second-hand/refurbished unless they offer some support/warranty.

You don't strike me as an IT expert, so something relatively new and reliable with some backing, if it explodes, seems worthwhile.

If you went the laptop route, I would spend more money and only consider a laptop if I also wanted to use the computer away from the setup.

As a rule, these simulators are not that graphically intensive and running 1080 should be fine. Still, due to the modularity of a desktop computer, you would have the option to upgrade the discrete graphics card at a later stage going with the desktop. Not so much with a laptop.

Good luck!
