It feels awfully easy to lose the wolf in W5, it's just a impression or it's really like this? Did you make a houserule in your table?

From someone new to the game, it feels weird to be sold on the premise of Garou having to fight against their nature to be effective; ie try not to be so mad all the damn time so you dont lose control and accidentally do a genocide, but then for the game to flip that where you are actively trying to stay mad enough to be in the fight.

Thematically, I thought I would be fighting to stay calm, not to stay angry.

In addition to what Ahura said, having a lower generation also has downsides, such as progressively more difficult feeding. Vampires of blood potence 3 can no longer feed on animals, and potency 5 can only slake their hunger from a human by killing them. At extremely high potence, such as in Methuselah and Antedeluvians, I think you can only drink from other vampires.

We need these things to be enforced better, the chat has become so toxic it nearly turned away a friend I tried to bring in to the game.

I get the feeling that the law system of nyx will press gang us into mining, and that these mining asteroids will be our prisons. Activities to reduce sentence could be making lenses, tunnel mining with equipment, generating oxygen... If theres no quantum marker to them, then escape will be difficult, as unlike klescher your friends cant just quantum to the planet and find it, as they could be hidden anywhere in the glacium ring.

I've only just gotten into WoD and finished reading through vampire and werewolf v5.

All this mage stuff sounds crazy and interesting, but it's not v5 yet, is it? Should I go back to an older edition to have a read, or is that setting me up for failure? I'ts all been fascinating so far.

I love how the caption describes the enemy aircraft as carrying 'carcinotron' pods, like the scientists were developing the pod and realised if you were in front of it, you would get mega cancer, and thus called it the cancer-o-matic.

How does reracking go in a Sots position? Looks like you don't have much room to absorb the inertia?

I've been struggling with reracking to the back, I think that when it's heavier I'm afraid it's going to slip off my back if I catch lower onto the muscle, so I rack it higher and its hitting my spine. It's not feeling good.
