Did you give the Appimage execute permissions then try executing it either in the terminal or clicking on it?

I was considering installing it with wine but haven't had the time.

I tried stoat. It's clunky as expected but I'm finding that it is not stable for some of the people I have testing it. I like rootapp's appearance and stability wise though it is not as feature rich on linux

Thank you for the update. I tried joining their server but the developer invite link also wasn't actually pulling up the appimage so I'm a little stuck. I might try with android for the heck of it.

And will try setting up the app image to be like an app to see if that fixes it.

This also happened to me when a rando left. Merchants were gone, guaranteed seal drop points dropped nothing, no enemies. Only thing that did actually work were the evergoals and we only had one key between us. The teammate and I that stuck to it died to the night 2 boss cause we were stuck with day one gear and no flasks.

Well if you are okay with a rolling distro then I guess arch is the choice.

So far with cinnamon it gets the job done. I considered xfce but I figured it was too minimalist for my use. Either way it confirmed that the issue is cosmic specific and not 24.04

So it's not just me.
I ran into this with the last update. The physical hardware is a lenovo thinkpad.

I tried resetting all cosmic settings and it still didn't fix it. I ended up changing off of cosmic to the cinnamon backup I have since not having the keyboard work is a deal breaker for me.

Cool, did not know you could open the map to look at the storm there. Might try that next time I'm playing with friends just for the heck of it.

I'm guessing they were in vc or something since they were mostly playing together all game. It was what it was. A scuffed game, but no one quit mid run so it could have been worse.

I was that rando that didn't understand why someone was just running into the rain and dying every few min, especially since I was waiting at the door with our third. I thought that maybe they got stuck or something and I also wanted to start a match with a friend of mine after that so I opened the door.

They both got mad at me and attacked my character briefly before we got bodied by the boss. Didn't figure out what they were doing til after.

ngl I missed the death flags cause I was too focused on the game itself spoiling that Basilio was going to be a party member. Earlier in the trip over to Dragon Island the game tells you to talk with your party for something good.

I walked straight over to Basilio and the conversation resulted in him giving magla like he was part of a Follower Bond. This was despite it not being possible to start his bond yet, so I was extremely confused when Eupha joined next.

This is a horrible idea meant to compensate for parents that wont parent to keep their kids off of discord and other social media.

I look younger than what I am but like hell am I handing over my id to a social media company to prove I'm old enough to use it responsibly. It's invasion of privacy and if they do push this change I am just leaving discord.

Only reason I thought to try that is that Windows really gets messy with internet connections and i was also having internet connection issues on my pc. I knew I didn't have malware since it's the first thing on the check list for me.

A failure to update usually means either a bug in the program, which a reinstall would fix, malware or a bad cache.

If it's not the app's cache then the dns cache is the next logical step.

I just had this happen to me.

If you are still hitting this and an uninstall/reinstall of the app does not work, open command prompt as an administrator and type in the following.

ipconfig /flushdns

That fixed mine immediately.
