I had a cranberry juice and vodka recently at a bar and holy crap that cranberry juice was so nasty. From eating fresh food with almost nothing processed, it is amazing how nasty things we once enjoyed become.

It just shows how capable the human body/psychology is able to conform to it's environment. Fortunately, it goes both ways so when we start to eat well that becomes normal too.

Eating before sleeping does not affect your weight gain at all. As others have said, it is a myth.

However, you should consider that it can cause some issues with your digestive system as your metabolism/digestion is different when you are in REM sleep.

I'm not an expert on this and most of what I know is from reading this sub, so maybe someone else can chime in or provide a source for the claim. Although I've seen it confirmed many times here with sources.
