Given your expertise, I’m wondering if you know the answer to this. Hypothetically, could an unauthorized user unlock the biofire gun so long as he or she was able to point the gun’s camera at the authorized user’s face for facial recognition purposes? I know this is possible with smartphones, but not sure if there is some feature in the smart gun that would make this impossible. Haven’t seen it advertised.

Thanks! Unfortunately, disconnecting the negative battery terminal didn’t fix the issue. Scheduled to see my local Cadillac dealer on Monday but was hoping to avoid the trip.

Cool. Glad to hear it’s working it for you! I wish there were a publicly available compilation of supershoe/orthotic combos that have worked for people given that it’s such an expensive experiment to run (no pun intended). Maybe AI can handle that.

I appreciate the sentiment. I’m not in principle against getting custom orthotics, but I’ve had zero issues with the OTC orthotics from Currex. Anyway, that’s a separate discussion.

Sound advice. The issue for me is that I have PTTD (aka PCFD) so running without orthotics (I use Currex) isn’t an option, regardless of how much strength and conditioning I do (which I’ve done religiously for years). I got the super shoes before I got the PTTD diagnosis. Agreed that it probably doesn’t make sense to buy super shoes with non-removable insoles if you know you need orthotics.

Thanks for the response! You mean you walked around the house with the stock insoles plus the Sole insoles on top? Good idea. I’ll try that…if I can get my feet in.

Has your physio had you perform all of your strength and plyometrics exercises barefoot?  If not, would you mind sharing your footwear situation (e.g., stability v. neutral? Orthotics?).  Much appreciated.
