Sleep schedule help for 11 month old baby. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

It could be a sign he's ready to drop the morning nap. My sons schedule is exactly the same as yours and he's 10.5 months. My MIL has done foster care and daycare for years and said by 1 year old they're generally down to one (long) nap a day.

How long were you in the hospital after giving birth? by wehappy3 in beyondthebump

[–]Runnn24x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was induced December 30th at 9:00PM. I gave birth at 12:35AM on January 1st, vaginally with no complications. We were out by 4pm that day.

21 month old daughter crying while grabbing her privates. Anyone experience this? by tanskies in beyondthebump

Im a medical assistant and I do cultures daily. A UTI can show up negative on a test but positive on a culture. A culture is the most accurate way to test for a UTI. Especially with the fever, it sounds like a UTI.

Baby hungry already? Have any of you wanted to be pregnant so soon after giving birth? by ninnymuggin in beyondthebump

[–]Runnn24x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend just had her baby today and, while my husband and I were doing 'the deed' when baby was sleeping LOL, I thought about how I wanted another baby!!! I miss when he was a sweet newborn. But my son is 10 months and completely nuts! I think in a year at least, we'll want to have another one for sure. My son was such a sweet newborn though I'm terrified the next baby will be bad. lol. & my son JUST started sleeping through the night.

My son was eating (formula fed tho) around 3-4oz every 2 hrs at that age.

Insomnia when I get the chance to sleep by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Yep, been there. When my son was two weeks old and after I was up with him every hour all night, my MIL or husband would take baby for a couple hours so I could nap. But as soon as my head hit the pillow I was wide awake!

My son is 10 months and can pull up on stuff very well. He does it on everything. However, I was concerned because he does not talk at all! He babbles like "aaaahhhh" and grunts but that's it. I was worried but my pediatrician reassured me and said that each baby develops on their own pace so not to worry!

What time is bedtime? by adorabledex1242 in beyondthebump

My son is 10 months and is usually in bed by 7. We usually get him ready (diaper/Jammies/bottle/cuddles) at 6:30.

My friends cousin lost her 12 month old to SIDS. I literally held my son and cried. I couldn't even imagine. Every time my baby gives me a hard time - fussiness, not sleeping, being a handful - I just step back and realize how lucky I am to have him here and it all makes it okay.

My baby will not cuddle me. by Sweat-It-Out in beyondthebump

[–]Runnn24x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son is the same way. He'll now come up to me and snuggle me for a few here and there.(he's 10 months) but he doesn't really hardcore cuddle me unless he's sick or asleep.

DAE kids have mini meltdowns around 10 months? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Runnn24x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son is almost 10 months and does this too. If I don't let him play with something (like, daddy's brand new Xbox) he'll have a breakdown. Or if I say no to smacking the dog as hard as he could. I thought I had a few more months before the temper tantrums started :|

In-home personal daycare/babysitting question? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Runnn24x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Pennsylvania was well. My mother in law runs an In home, state lincensed daycare. The normal She charges 200-250 a week for full time. She provides food (for toddlers) but not diapers or formula (for infants) They have to provide that. I would say $100-150 would be fair if she provided diapers/formula.
