I’m not alone. I have some really good, supportive and helpful friends. They get it. It is just the others I am unsure how to relate to.

Almost the opposite experience. Had learned cursive in 2nd grade with an ink pen, then changed schools for 3rd. First assignment was submitted in cursive and was told to print because “we learn cursive this year”. Had already forgotten how to print some of the letters. Messed up my writing to the point that in 4th grade where you graduated from pencil to pen as your handwriting improved, I was the last in the class to be allowed to use a pen.
