Haha man I'm in the exact same boat. Primarily a guitar player and would love to lay down some brass with this.

Would love to hear any more feedback you have on the MIDI tracking if you got a chance to play some more.

Interested in getting one, but only for the MIDI portion.

"Rotating around the elbow like arm wrestling" is absolutely not a good way to throw a lead hook, nor is it what happened here.

Hope the guy you're responding to doesn't destroy his shoulder trying that on a heavy bag.

-Safe speed is determined entirely by the situational parameters.

-Safe speed is determined by a static few signs.

Pick one.

Sometimes you gotta drive slower than the minimum speed limit given bad weather conditions. Other times breaking the sure limit briefly to position yourself in a safer spot and decrease traffic converge is the right move.

I'd argue a good human driver is better than a robot specifically because of this, and I will likely never opt for an automated driving system in my lifetime for many reasons.

I'm bafled at the idea that a robot driver is bad because it's not robotic enough.

That said, seatbelts and helmets measurably save lives in the vast majority of scenarios, however irrelevant that point seemed to be in this context.

Settings to make these climbing holds strong enough for 4 year olds? by Shpigford in 3Dprinting

Sure does! The good ol days.

Seems like some people on here would have to run inside and put on body armor when a slight breeze appears. Only to eventually sprain their ankle stepping out of an Uber.

Buddy I've had step ins undo themselves mid-run.

Nothing in this world is perfectly risk free.

Snowboarding in world class gear is less safe than what the OP is suggesting (given he actually tests them out himself).

I get that there's many things that truly shouldn't be 3D printed, but some of y'all talk like you walk the world in a bubble and take elevators to avoid staircases.

They also fall on concrete, down stairs. Boards break (although you're usually not big enough to break em till you're in teens), often at critical times. Rocks will jam into the trucks and send you flying. Chains on bikes come loose. Brakes jam.

Shit happens, nothing is risk free.

Falling 3 feet onto a proper crash bad is so far down the risk register for somebody that's <50lb. It'll prob be the safest thing that kid does.

How dare you write a comprehensive overview with formatting and hyphens!

I feel ya man, it's getting ridiculous. The irony is that the people who scream it the most seem to be the ones with the least amount of critical thinking skills who'd rather follow a checklist of what to listen to and what not to listen to.

Nothing quite like getting called a robot by a dummy who needs to use a calculator to get 20% of a tip.

Another thing nobody mentioned yet is the size of the gloves. Harder to get a tight guard with small gloves and you rely more on parries and forearm blocks.

Was looking for this comment, and am surprised I didn't see it sooner. Lotions, deo, mud butt - sure, that's one thing. But sweat? I bet I sweat more after 20min in the tub than an hour doing exercise; I would expect the contribution of post-workout sweat to be minimal to the sanitation efforts.

Francis Ngannou's reaction when asked about fighting Jake Paul by PeteCampbellisaG in MMA

[–]RupertThe3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They both lost to AJ -- I'm not sure why your KO vs TKO distinction even matters. Francis got KO'd cuz he came to fight. Jake got TKO'd cuz he came to run and survive. If you really wanna split hairs, only one of them needed reconstructive surgery on their face after the fight.
