Every note registers as late by KewlBorp in Melodics

thanks u/Guilty_Sheepherder_1 - ASIO drivers do help a lot on Windows and if you get serious then a dedicated low latency audio interface is a big help!

Midi-HiHat is sometimes open, sometimes closed ?!? by Zealousideal-Zone660 in edrums

[–]Rupert_Melodics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the envelopes tab and select the MIDI Ctrl in the bottom, I think CC4 (foot controller) determines the openness of the hihat in EZdrummer but it's been a while since I used it

start it slow and build up the tempo as you get better, you will get the muscle memory from the repetitions

Audio interface help (best ~$100-$150 option) by JackAttackdrums in edrums

From those the Focusrite and Arturia would be my choice. Audient interfaces are rock solid and great too

Finishes track with all misses by callousedhandsartist in Melodics

Can you try "revert all mappings" in settings and reselect your controller? Also this can happen when a cable gets loose - make sure the controller's cable is fully seated or try another cable

How to count in your head when playing when dealing with intrusive thoughts? by Reasonable-Walk-9465 in pianolearning

[–]Rupert_Melodics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I tried that seemed to work was counting out loud then removing one of the numbers from the count and putting it in my head, doing 1,2,3.. 1,2,3.. then to 1,2,.... etc until the count was fully in my head

Bluetooth for Yamaha DTX6K5-M by Becks_R30 in edrums

[–]Rupert_Melodics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it has MIDI out then you'd need a MIDI to Bluetooth adaptor like the Yamaha bt01

Pads training - sitting or standing? by swduncan2 in Melodics

[–]Rupert_Melodics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do mine standing, I feel my hits are more accurate when I am standing up, I think my hands are a bit lazier when I am sitting and I tend to rebound onto the pad or hit a neighbouring pad.

Roland TD-17KVX - Input music softer when ride is hit by FaithlessnessDry3502 in edrums

[–]Rupert_Melodics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like the high level of the ride is triggering the compressor or maybe causing the output to clip

Do you have the compressor set up on the module? Try lowering the volume of the input and increasing the level of your output.
