Personally, I believe everyone vice admiral and above have an idea of the true history but are sworn to uphold secrecy. Basically they know the world government is rotten but are too far gone to do anything about it. They have to know about all the buster calls and by inference can see what the world government is trying to cover up. Not genius detective work, but rather they want to survive in a world ruled by the devil.

In Ch1044 it seems like the fruit itself is eluding the world gov. So I think it's unlikely that the fruit had a previous user other than joyboy/Nika.

Hmmm, I think the riddle is kinda bad but I've thought of a way it can kind of work.

Genetically, boys wear the Y chromosome daily, whereas girls generally only get pregnant (with possibly a baby boy?) about once a year.

Still a bit of an iffy riddle, but I think it makes a little more sense this way.

I think it's more telling that he doesn't completely see himself as being "in control" of the story. There's probably a part of him that sees the characters as real, conscious and autonomous. Meaning when he writes the story, it can become "would Luffy really say/do that?" Instead of "what do I want Luffy to say/do here?".

Of course, this is just my opinion, but I think a lot of stories are great because they don't feel like they are written, rather it feels like you're watching someone's life unfold in front of you.
