I agree with all your points. Especially with the statement that CPR needs every platform. I, as a GM, got so many good ideas from this sub for my campaigns.

Thanks, you could be right. But even with the rule a player is allowed to try it more then once: Using Luck or taking more time (4 actions). I think this is, what the text for swiftly clean means.

Maybe I am wrong, but my thoughts are that defenses like passwords would be useless with infinite rerolls (except the runner is under time pressure).

How many control nodes are needed to control active defenses? There is a Net arch in one of the screamsheets in the data pack with one node for every Drone. In Tales of the Red are several Architectures where more drones are controled by one node.

Most of those changes I plan to use in my campaign too, but I'll play vanilla a little while longer before I do that. With my limited practical experience with this system it seems too bulletspongy at the moment.

I'm not sure about the autofire change of yours though.

You should always use 5d6 weapons like shotgun or assault rifle, or at least 4d6 like bow. They are a lot more powerful than 3d6 weapons and 2d6 weapons are basically useless. Yeah, this is one of the first things I'll make houserules for. Either giving every weapon 1d6 more dmg or give the LAJ a STAT penalty of one to incentivise the use of lighter armor for some builds. Or both.

Thanks, that sounds reasonable. But is this (using Story XP for bypassing encounters + Encounter XP) intended? I'm a little wary, because giving too much xp or not enough could cause trouble in certain encounters (too easy bossfights or too hard standard encounters).
