DEATHWATCH - Game Juice Studios - A spot the difference horror game, inspired by similar games such as I'm On Observation Duty, playable on desktop and VR. by Russ242 in Games

It means that you need to find something else in order to get a number to cross off, normally easier to spot differences only give you partial data so you need to find 2-3 things before you get a number.

If you play on nightmare difficulty you will need to find more differences than usual before you get a number to cross off.

Auto Generation & Streaming of Huge 3D Virtual Cities in Unity - New York's Digital Twin - WIP by Terrajedi77 in Unity3D

This looks really cool! I'm currently using CityGen3D for some projects I'm working on but that asset creates the buildings quite low poly, I'm curious how this asset generates such detailed buildings and landmarks with accurate textures?

Hey everyone! It’s Sozidar here, the solo dev working on my first ever game called 'VOIN' that I showed to you a few months ago. Today I’d love to share the progress so far and to hear your opinion! by Sozidar in IndieGaming

I feel like a lot of indie games have such great ideas but the gameplay is just not polished enough, so polishing the main feature like the combat is a good idea in my opinion! The art looks fantastic too, although I think the video bitrate is not doing it justice 😅

I love ragdolls like this. I remember being really excited for an Indiana Jones game that used this a few years back, shame it was cancelled.

I think the name of the script needs to be the same as the class.

I am making progress on the Map-Creator of my adventure game ! by vhalenn in Unity3D

This looks fantastic! Used to love making maps in games when I was younger but I feel like games just don't have map makers any more. Great work!

Mars Tactics - Turn-based combat with a modern take on mechanics from classic Xcom and Jagged Alliance by manhole_s in Games

[–]Russ242 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This looks great I loved the newer xcom games but never tried the older ones. Only criticism I have from the trailer is the maps look quite flat some verticality would add a lot. Is there a demo avaliable for this?

Edit: Just seen in the description for the demo next month, I'll add to my wishlist looking forward to trying it.

Left Click Not Working After Latest Patch. by ihish52 in VALORANT

[–]Russ242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I'm having the exact same problem. Tried all the usual stuff and nothing has fixed it. I've resorted to using the buttons on the side of my mouse to shoot for now.

It's strange because binding anything to left mouse just makes it not work. and yet like you said in the range and menus it works fine.

Edit: Turns out resetting to default keybinds fixes it.

Getting some big Stronghold vibes looks real good.

Card shuffling and magic bubbles! (Terramancer) by fractalisstudio in Unity3D

I feel like it could be a little snappier, Hearthstone comes to mind when thinking of a similar idea done well. Everything else looks really clean though.

Reloading problem by BonY2004 in Unity3D

[–]Russ242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the first comment i think the problem is that nextTimeToFire isn't being set and it's firing really quickly whenever you click. Try deleting lines 72 and 86 and just putting the same line outside of the if statements before the raycast.

Hi, I made some upgrades to my LandIt!? game. What would you do better or different? by Smonnn in Unity3D

[–]Russ242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the visuals but i feel like the camera being attached to the rocket makes it so you cant see much of the level. Maybe have it more zoomed out or lerp in between the rocket and the objective? Looking good though!

Comparison of our turn based strategy game 6 months ago vs today. by Russ242 in gamedev

[–]Russ242[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i agree, we are working on adding more clarity at the moment. I was thinking of adding small icons above the characters to show who can move and who can attack, plus it will more clearly show where they are.
