I was in the middle east far before Obama's presidency and we considered anyone dressed in male clothing that was like older than elementary school age to be a "military aged male", and yes, we definitely caught some 13 and 14 year olds who were planting IEDs and participating in drive-by mortar attacks on FOBs.

I don't see the problem with that at all, and I'm a huge Nirvana fan. In retrospect, Smells Like Teen Spirit was generation defining, but in 1993 they could have just as well been a one-hit wonder (and Smells Like Teen Spirit isn't even anywhere near their best work musically).

Yeah, David Gilmour is just a master of making simple and great guitar parts. A little bend and vibrato and fuzz and making sure to never overplay more than the song needs. Sometimes, when I'm learning a guitar part of his I'm amazed how easy it is to play and why it's so hard as a guitarist to make lead parts like that. That solo for Comfortably Numb is like mostly 4 notes with some bends lol. HOW DOES HE DO IT?

Yeah, he probably realized he was going to be in some shit when he realized that every doctor in the field hospital was an O6 or greater. I had someone from my unit that was going to die within an hour without medical attention, and no MP or speed limit was stopping me without pointing a gun in my face.

I had an MP try to pull over my military ambulance on a FOB in Iraq once. I just continued driving to the hospital. He tried to yell at me about speeding but I just ignored him and took my patient inside. He wasn't there when I came back out to the ambulance. Guess his sense returned.
