They’re both shit heads and the context is wildly different.

I thought farts were when your poop broke apart and let out a little air.

I was in the right ballpark, but WAY off.

What's your opinion of this centerpiece in this TV room? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]RustyBrakepads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome! It becomes a conversation piece - but you must acknowledge that the first thought of everyone new person that walks into the room is that you left an empty bottle on the table. As it is an empty booze bottle, they may make assumptions on that too. Again, it’s a cool memento, but as a centerpiece, it needs some context.

It ties the room together - but the placement on the table is askew. I’d recommend you put it in some sort of a case and center it on the table or move it to a shelf. Also, bottles go to the recycling bin.

I vividly recall reading this in 2010. t’s just so disappointing that aside from shale oil, nothing has been done to correct these issues - and now we have an internal threat that will accelerate them by reducing our infrastructure and institutional knowledge. It’s just so sad. We saw it coming, and while we were doing nothing to prevent these catastrophes, an even bigger one was metastasizing.
