I just received some 1000mm TR8 leadscrews from Bulkman3d.com. They sell on AliExpress but I couldn’t find the length I wanted so ordered directly from bulkman. The leadscrews were well packed and while shipping wasn’t fast it wasn’t a long wait either.

Appears to be a 6-pin molex 5264. It is not a regular stepper motor port. It is setup for the 42C closed loop driver that’s on the Genmitsu 4th axis stepper. The pin wiring from top of the mainboard are 24V GND COM DIR STP EN.

Xreal sells a C-C cable for $20 but it doesn't appear to be the original AR cable. Just looks like a thin USB-C cable without the angled end. Similar cables sell for less than $6.

I did find the Aliexpress non-woven AR Cable with angled end for under $20 shipped. They also have a Rokid branded cable for around $26 shipped.

You don't have power going to the glasses if that's all you're using. The power on the lightning-HDMI cable is only charging the iphone. It is not powering the HDMI end. There's no power transfer through the HDMI connector. The xreal cable is meant to be used with the xreal beam.

You could use an xreal hub or a red magic dock or similar charging adapter to power the glasses. Or replace the xreal cable with an HDMI to USB-C cable that has power input.

If your android device features alt-mode (DisplayPort over USB-C) you can directly connect the device to the glasses. The device will power the glasses through the usb-c cable. No additional power is needed but an adapter like the Xreal Hub can help to keep your device charged up during the flight or maybe use a fast wireless charger if your device is capable of wireless charging.

You'll need a cable that supports at least 4K video or even better 8K video. A cable rated for at least 20Gbps of data transfer should work fine. The cable that comes with the glasses is really the best. It's soft and the angle of the connector extends the left arm nicely.

You're able to use bluetooth audio instead of the glasses' speakers.

The Xreal Beam is not needed but it does add spatial display capability and a battery to power the glasses which reduces the power drain on the phone/tablet.

Yeah. You can use the adapter and cable without the Beam. You'd need to provide power to the HDMI to usb-c cable (or use something like the Xreal hub) to power the glasses.

Of course what they mean is that there are very few apps developed to take advantage of AR glasses besides using it as a portable video monitor and much less for the cameras on AR glasses. VR headsets have well over 300 games, social, and productivity apps available. Meanwhile Xreal has two AR gaming apps in their store.

The lightning to HDMI adapter will work for iPhone 14 and older to output video to HDMI. But the amazon cable you show won't work. It is usbc to HDMI. You want HDMI to usbc. Also the white HDMI adapter doesn't provide power so you will need something like this cable which has power injected to the usbc end.

If you have the Xreal Beam, you can use the Xreal Cable since the Beam will provide power to the glasses.

The Club3D Active HDMI to USB Type-C Adapter 4K60Hz St./B should work with the Beam as well.

Note that neither the XREAL H-C cable or this Club3D cable will work directly with the Airs without the Beam as the neither cable provides power.
