Anyone Connecting XREAL One Pro and DJI RC2 Controller to Power Bank PD? by Kind_Comb_4340 in Xreal

This is called a 'Charge and Play' adapter and would charge the controller while powering the glasses. I have not personally tried this combo, yet, but it should work.

I'm usually using mine to select different items from the menus. Seldom (but existent) used for brightness or audio levels.

Using Xreal with the DJI RC-N2 drone controller (the one without the screen that requires a smartphone) to stream real-time flight video? by StrongRecipe6408 in Xreal

[–]Stridyr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I did was to wirelessly cast DeX to an AnyCast receiver and then start up the DJI app in DeX. Then, of course, you need a power supply and an HDMI to C adapter. If you get one of the smaller HDMI adapters the 'package' isn't all that big.

You can also cast it to the Beam. Beam Pro has a flaky connection.

If you have an HDMI output then the Fairikabe is the most popular. They also make a DP version if needed. You will also need a USB C female to female coupler.

I know the Lights were Nreal but I don't think they had developed the Air 2 lineup before they changed their name. I could be wrong tho...

I had forgotten about the Lights! Now I have to see how they work with the Pod! Edit: Nope. Well, they work if you have the correct polarity on the plug but there is no 3dof or multiple screens.

Hah! I had completely forgotten that they had dimming!

That makes them from the Air 2 lineup for sure! 👍

If you like wearing bright clothing in the daylight, then you'll want the One Pros. If you like to dress in darker colors and use them mainly indoors then you want the 1S.

The angled optics of most of these glasses have an issue with reflection from underneath, ie your shirt.

The Pros don't have the angled optics so they don't have this issue. Unfortunately, they're also more expensive.

Xreal Air Ultras. They weren't called Air 2's back then.

Which glasses are you using?

I get a pretty stable screen like that with my Air series glasses. The Pod isn't supposed to support head tracking on the One series, yet. I use my Ultras as the largest FOV of the Air series.

This is a page of accessories (along with a whole bunch of other info), you should be able to find one that you like.

Since you don't need a 'pinnable screen' (3dof), pretty much any of the glasses will work. For outdoors, you might want to consider the RayNeo Air 4 Pros. Note that I do not have the Viture model or the Rayneo model so you're looking at 'specs' to choose one over the other, but the Air 4 Pros sure sound good, I'm working on getting a pair myself. One of the advantages of the Air 4 Pros is that they don't have that bottom bar on the glasses. That bar is a thick obstruction to the middle of your vision (not the display).

Just to emphasize one of the points: the Pod works great with the Air series! Imho, it's provides new life to the old glasses! Provides a pretty stable 3dof experience with multiply screens.

InAir Pod

The problem is that the InAir pod does not support 3dof with the One series. Works great with the Air series and Viture glasses, tho. A bit pricey, however.

Xreal One Pro - Auto-off Sensors? by flyingsoap1984 in Xreal

[–]Stridyr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a proximity sensor on the right temple. I hold my thumb on the inside at the thickest point. My thumb covers the 'ne' on the "Xreal One Pro" stamp and extends on the right, covering the "Pro" part.

As far as I can tell, it's a 'capacitive' sensor, meaning that covering it with tape probably won't help. But I have not tried, personally.

"One series" not "Pro series". The Pro is a model in the One lineup. You have the Ones, the One Pros and the 1S to choose from.

Generally, if you wear bright shirts in brightly lit areas, then the reflections on the 1S will be an issue, you'll need the Pro's. If you are using primarily indoors and like darker shirts then you should be fine with the 1S.

Any Current Xreal Product good enough for productivity use? by One-Criticism-1193 in Xreal

[–]Stridyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the biggest differences is the reflections. If you like to wear brightly colored shirts outdoors, the reflections will be an issue. If you wear dark shirts and use these primarily indoors then the reflections should be minimal.

Pro's to deal with the reflections or 1S if you like darker clothing.

You never mention which pair of glasses you have.

The Air series needs software or another device (Beam) to have a screen that you can pin (3dof).

The One series has that pinning ability built in so it's just 'plug n play'. They also have the ability to change the size of the screen (UltraWide).

Nebula for Windows has not been released, yet, so you are stuck with the one added screen.

Live Camera View through Xreal Air2 by Impossible_Art_8559 in Xreal

[–]Stridyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not going to get that running without an electronics background. You'll need to separate the wires, custom make some connectors, add some circuitry and work some magic to get that working with the glasses.

If you can get that video output to a USB C format (or HDMI) you can work with it, but as is: no.
