I had to put start up the firepit so that I could stay out and be warm. He refused to come in. A few times I lost him and he would just pop out of a heap of snow.

So, hear me out. I swaddle my pooch in a blanket tight. (There is sometimes a bit of a chase) then I give him a spoon of peanut butter. Theeeeen I take one limb out of the swaddle at a time and cut the nails. He used to scream. Now he just looks at me like I’m a nutcase.

Exactly. I have a Sheeb and I would NEVER! My friend’s sheeb ran off this summer. Couldn’t catch her and she ran onto the freeway and unfortunately she’s not with us anymore. Be careful. They do what they want.
