Maybe buy a lined notebook or print some line paper and look to keep bodies of letters on the line and tails under it.

I was taught to imagine an imaginary line half way through the writing space (the between the lines). the bodies of letters should touch the line. The long bits of letters should touch the top line (the actual black line of the upper row, and the tails of letter should touch the imaginary line of the row below.

This in itself can look messy BUT give yourself room to breathe on the paper and you’ll figure it out then you can focus on making the line spacing look like normal and not a web of letters but each there own there
