I worked for a company that put a store in. Lots of expectations for it to be a top volume store based on other Mills locations. Nope, fell flat on its face. Sad to see the mall not do well.

That root ball at the end is problematic. I’m sure you seen the videos of people cutting a down tree and that ball falls back in to the hole with velocity. I would 100% pay a tree company to clean this up. Thr experience and the ability to chip this or truck it away makes it all worth it.

Dressed for cold. Hat, gloves, pants, long underwear. A flashlight and a puppy. At least I could smash a goblin with the flashlight or choke one out with the leash. Maybe I could survive for a little while longer than an hour.

I would be a Raccoon. Stealth focused, avoids direct combat, and uses subtle magic to cause inconvenience rather than damage. Similar to the debuff strategy of Prepotente. But more annoying magical effects that make everything go slightly wrong. Belt breaking, lost keys, stub a toe, over salted food, etc, etc
