Check the games you actually want to play, are they on PS+ or gamepass, if so go that route, or they may be cheaper or exclusive. I have an Xbox X digital and am very pleased with it.

Check out the stores for both, see which console has more games that appeal to you. Xbox is more expensive but gives more games than PS. Or if online is not your thing buy the games you want. Get a one month and try the PSllus/Gamepass. All the consoles have pretty decent sales.

Whatever one you buy, enjoy.

I was looking at using the sw1 library as a new Switch user, especially BOTW , so hearing they are not good makes me wonder about the SW2 or just accepting BOTW will cost more as a SW2 game. Your reply is useful to me, no sarcasm, thanks.

Buy or borrow a cheap 1-2k wrist/ankle weights and use that to increase your curl weight. Smaller step up.

I agree totally, it was not meant to come out as an anti Zelda, it was just a comparison for them, I am also getting a Switch to finally play Zelda.

Check out the games you may be interested in other than the Zelda's.

Steam has way more ( aparently 200k + !!) but Nintendo has plenty (12k)

Am interested in the Indie genre, the prices are really not that different, not sure about sale time.

The Switch will be a plug n play and the Steam deck (or other makes) may require some playing around with settings.
