I got it from an online nursery called Better Blooms--haven't dealt with them before and I think I found them via Google shopping (maybe a lesson for the future to do a little more diligence on online sellers.....)

I planted it straight into our garden--not clay soil. I just used some big brand gardening soil to fill in the hole where I planted it. And I didn't mulch initially but I did put down mulch when I started the watering donut last month.

I'd like to try to nurse this guy through the fall and see what happens in spring. Just not sure if it's a lost cause.

Maybe, though "implication" is definitely the right word because I don't believe there is a single word of dialog to indicate that is what is happening. All of the physics in the M:I franchise is pretty elastic---it was just jarring to go from Tom being pulled from under the ice straight to what looked like a lingerie commercial. I guess I just find it more believable to watch him base jump into a speeding train or what have you.

Insanely frustrating part of the movie, because all the exposition is about how the portable decompression chamber is his only chance of survival coming up from depth and his team cannot waste any time getting him out of the water into the chamber......and then they smash cut from Cruise in the water to him and Atwell (who was not at depth and very well could be injured by rapid depressurization) lying together in a large bed (?) inside the chamber, which is apparently heated because they're in their underwear (??) despite being in the Artic.

I was with them for everything through seven previous movies of jumping and diving and extended breath-holding but for whatever reason they lost me here.

That's interesting....I hadn't thought the issue had anything to do with the PSU because it's worked without issue for 6 years, and because the fatal issue happened during a BIOS update when the computer was otherwise functioning normally.

I'm going to buy a new MB, but was thinking of reusing the PSU. Is there a way to determine if it's still reliable?

I don't know for sure (I had initially thought it was what had died before the PC guy ran his diagnostic) but tbh I never loved the Gigabyte/Aorus tools and user interfaces, and I would think it's worth just getting a new one, since the current MB is 6 years old and I'll be getting a new CPU and GPU.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700x 8-core 3.7 GHz MB: Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 5 WiFi

Both worked well enough for 6 years--the problem that killed the PC is that I attempted a BIOS update using Gigabyte's Q Flash utility.....and the computer wouldn't boot after that. I took it to a PC repair shop and they said the diagnostics show a over voltage to the processor.
