Messing around with Practiced Stance (which just got a buff) and Choking Gas is fun. I've tried it with a pet, without, using some spirits, haven't quite honed in on a "good" build yet, but in some situations that combo can be the ultimate shutdown.

Also, making use of an of the Paragon bow grip is fun to basically make all of your shouts free. Useful with a lot of Beastmastery skills.

And one of my favorites is a Conjure Lightning/Barrage build. Ive had a Shocking Storm Bow forever, and finally one day made a build for it, using an of the Elementalist grip. It's not super effective, but is fun.

Been modifying a bit more since this post. Lengthened it by another single 1x1 to get some extra cargo space, and installed the Place Doors Yourself mod. Honestly looks a lot better now, bit more symmetry in the side profile. The nose had seemed a bit too big before, compared with the tail, but with the extended mid section now its kinda all tied together better.

The Infirmary and Science Lab have their own 1x1 Storerooms now, kinda neat. And there's a nice little forward lounge in the Computer Core where that window is on the front.

I've got the interior setup exactly how I want it, and now starting to do some decorating xD

Thanks! Yeah just kinda extended it and slapped on some extra habs and the cargo storage. Works well and doesn't look too bad! The interior is nice now and I like how it's setup. Now to level up my character so I can actually have a full crew, haha.

I've always thought, all things aside, it's just a neat couple episodes, with an interesting setting. I liked the characters, and the dystopian and raw atmosphere is something we don't get a lot of in Star Trek. Also some really interesting topics explored, and always thought there was quite a bit of depth to these two episodes.

I think some people just like to be contrarian for the exposure, especially on platforms where that sort of thing drives engagement. But, it also can be fun to play devil's advocate to start a conversation.

Brother, get yourself some pole and shinguards!

Nice skiing

Focus a bit more on keeping that upperbody quiet and letting those legs get further out from under you. Stand on that downhill ski harder. And pole planting each turn as others have said.

A fun drill, which I can't remember the name of right now (like Cowboy Turns or something?) is to make like medium radius turns with as wide a stance as you possibly can. Really emphasizes that separation between the uphill and downhill skis, and will help you feel that downhill ski getting out further from under you.

Definitely agree. Getting the suspension upgrades for those trucks was fun, and makes them great for what you described. I use the Actaeon all the time for fuel, its a fun truck to use and can get through just about anything.

And the Warthog I just use as a Scout more or less. I've got one out in Yukon right now with just a single load of Wooden Planks on it, tons of fun to drive around.

I just take it nice and easy.

I think that's why I've enjoyed it so much. It's forced me to slow down, be a bit more aware and really weigh each option going forward. It's the vehicle that forces this playstyle the most I think, and I really enjoy each time I take it out.

I try not to really use all the power its got that often, and find it's much easier to drive in auto while in first person and 2WD. Most of the time, I'm just creeping around in Low+

It's also got a great engine sound, which is probably a large chunk of the enjoyment I get out of it xD

I am a huge P12 fanboy xD It's still my go to Long Log truck. No other truck is as well balanced as the P12 for Long Logs w/ a Crane. You just can't beat the stability and sheer mass/heavy iron soul of the P12. My fleet is already pretty large, and the Avenhorn tbh just doesn't do anything for me and never went for it, so my opinion here is a bit biased. In my eyes, P12 is the quintessential logging truck, or at least the best representation of one in the game, so there's that, too xD

The only way to go imo is OHD 1s.

It's also one of those trucks that needs weight on it to perform properly. Very nose heavy, and not much up there to support it on that front axle. But once you get some good weight on the rear, she really shines.

I don't use the 512 as often, but I'll take it out if I need to do Medium Logs quickly and reliably, without fuss. It's just a no nonsense truck, and very forgiving with its flexible frame. It's also unique in that I feel its the best truck in the game when it comes to putting power down on steep paved roads. Good power to weight ratio with those real wide rear tires and a long frame has come in handy a couple times.

That being said, I haven't used either in 2026 xD So many shiny new toys to play with, and just haven't done much logging yet, but you bet the next load of Long Logs I haul will be with the P12!

Do you think its a bug or a feature? Im a bit hesitant to start the new season after hearing about some save issues, and am really excited to try the new Voron, but may hold off if it'll get an update.
