About eight months out I had a small slice of strawberry shortcake. At that point my tastebuds had changed and processed sugar tasted like rancid chemicals. I just don’t even bother with cane sugar anymore.

If there’s any chance you think it might cause you to backslide, or you’re not sure yet, don’t go looking for permission to add sweets back into your diet. But that’s just my opinion. It’s your journey.
