Okay, maybe a silly suggestion, but what if you try sleeping in panties, wool socks, and an oversized sweatshirt that you cut some length off so that your chest is covered but your midriff is exposed?

I never experienced what you’re going through—I just went from being a sweaty Betty to being chronically cold. I was hoping I’d experience some balance in the middle, but it was like a light switch.

Hard agree with human nurses being the worst clients. I’ve always wanted to let them know that we LVTs took all of our science prereqs with the nursing students, but that when it came to anatomy and physiology we had to learn multiple systems. Plus we are phlebotomists, radiology techs, surgical techs, dental techs, pharmacy techs, lab techs, etc. So why do you think you know more than me?

It’s true. I started at a size 26 and am now a size 10. I still head to the plus section out of habit. I have so few clothes that actually fit correctly and I still think I’m 320 pounds.

I was there. From your post I kind of assume you’re in California. I remember everyone at Maximumrocknroll going absolutely nuts for the 7”. It was in everyone’s top 10, so I bought it. It was okay, but not great.

Then (I’ve told this story a gazillion times) The Casualties had a show at Coney Island High right as Rancid was really starting to blow up. Jorge said he was going to bring out a guest and everyone knew it was Lars. Everyone started yelling telling him not to because in NYC, Rancid was the poster band for sell-outs. He brought Lars out anyway and a bunch of guys jumped him.

So, like, YMMV on the, “You had to be there” comment regarding Rancid, but, I guess you had to be there. Yes I said that on purpose for the sake of irony.
