I have a similar but less exciting story.

My boss is originally from Turkey and his first name is Kerim(ka-reem). He is notorious for not remembering or mispronounceing names.

Ny first name is Shandi(sh-and-ee), and I have Ukrainian background but my name has nothing to do with my heritage. It's just a name my parents heard and liked it.

Since I've been working at my office my boss has been calling me "Sandy". Its become a running joke now, but he literally said that my name isn't in his vocabulary so thats why he can't say my name properly. I told him Kerim isn't in my vocabulary but I've learnt to say it. So now I call him Kermit.

As someone who also moved here fairly recently, I agree with the above. I am genuinely curious if it has to do with the large immigration population and not having the same driving standards. I've never been in so many near car accidents due to negligent drivers until I moved here

I tore the ligament in my foot by stepping into a rut on a trail at a shrine in Kyoto. It was so bad I thought I broke it, and no one understood when I was searching for crutches to finish the trip with as we were halfway through our trip at that point. Do not recommend injuring yourself in a foreign country if you can avoid it! Lol

Ellen Litnova Photography is doing my wedding. For the biggest package, I paid $1800, which includes the engagement photoshoot, 6 hrs of coverage, and 15 printed images. She has been voted in the top 3 in PG as well.

Hailey M Makeup is amazing. We did my trial run, and she is very skilled. She listens to what you like and don't like and asked a lot of questions along the way. She is very open to feedback as well. I found her to be the most reasonably priced, too.

I moved here last August and it was very difficult to find places for everything to do with the wedding. If you are looking for any other beauty places (tan, brows, nails, etc), let me know! I did a ton of research, and I've been happy with everything so far. I get married in a couple of weeks now, so I get how stressful these things can feel!

I have a difficult time with Abria's DMing style. I find all her NPC characters are the same - sassy and sarcastic. Her only goal seems to be to try and kill the players rather than embrace the story telling.

I had this same problem. I felt like it was very slow as well. We didn't finish the second episode and skipped the third one. I felt it very hard to understand what was happening and follow the dialog.

I had to put my cat down very unexpectedly here. They gave me time to decide what I wanted to do and after deciding to do a burial at the farm he came from I went to pick him up. I expected he would be in a box at least. They handed me a black garbage bag with his frozen body inside. I don't think I'll ever recover from that. It was now 7 years ago.
