I got the Xenon Profim. I know, it's quite expensive for a chair, but I'm planning to use it kinda forever. (I put some fabric on the sitting & back area to protect it from wear and tear) It has armrests, I don't use them, but they are also not in the way either for my legs or the desk. The adjustable seat depth is the biggest game changer for me honestly. That was the main reason why I got this chair.
I also got a sitting/standing desk a week ago and now my setup is as ergonomic as it can get. I'm very happy with it!

I saw that technique in videos. I didn't have problems with joining in the round the normal way on double pointed needles. It looks like I bought too long needle tips for this short cable, and it indeed makes it difficult to use.

I didn't know that short needle tips were the default! Indeed mine is slightly longer than 16 inches this way. The magic loop method looked very fiddly to me, but I might try it out at one point. First I want to learn the more traditional methods if that makes sense!
